Beerserker is a new craft brewery based in Stockholm, Sweden.
The brand is inspired by the Vikings, norse seafarers who raided and traded from their Scandinavian homelands across wide areas of northern, central and eastern Europe, during the late 8th to late 11th centuries.
The name is the fusion between Beer and Berserker, the champion Norse warriors who are primarily reported in the Old Norse literature to have fought in a nearly uncontrollable, trance-like fury, a characteristic which later gave rise to the English word berserk.
The logo is built to represent a Viking with his helmet on, the entire branding follows this Viking/warrior concept thanks to the use of straight lines and strong colours like black and red.
The design of the beer labels take inspiration from the Norse mythology, every beer is in fact associated to a Norse rune, with the symbol and its name.
